Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 27, 2026

Focus Sprint processes only the information needed to provide short focus warm-ups, personal records, and optional leaderboard features. The app does not require a normal account, password, or real name. When Firebase is enabled, an anonymous Firebase Authentication ID may be created for leaderboard separation. Anonymous leaderboard storage does not guarantee cross-device backup.

For privacy or data requests, contact the developer at kjun01072@gmail.com.

Information processed

  • Local browser records: task name, start time, duration, difficulty, trial counts, correct and incorrect answers, accuracy, response time, score, and settings may be stored in browser localStorage.
  • Anonymous authentication and online leaderboard records: when Firebase is enabled, Firebase Authentication anonymous user ID, session ID, task information, timing, difficulty, summary results, score, and server timestamp may be stored in Firestore.
  • Contact information: if you email the developer, your email address, message, screenshots, or attached record files may be processed for support.
  • Automatically collected data: hosting, Firebase, and advertising services may process IP address, browser/device data, cookies, or similar identifiers for security, analytics, abuse prevention, and ads.

Third-party services

  • Google Firebase Authentication / Firestore: used for anonymous authentication, leaderboard storage, reads, server timestamps, and security rules. Firebase privacy and security information
  • Google AdSense: may be used for ads, ad measurement, and invalid-click prevention if ads are enabled. Google advertising technologies
  • Static web hosting: deployment may use Netlify, Vercel, Firebase Hosting, or similar providers that create server logs.

Storage and visibility

  • Local records are stored in your browser. They may disappear after clearing browser data, using private mode, or switching devices.
  • Anonymous authentication ID is stored by Firebase in your browser. Clearing site data may disconnect the current browser from its previous online records.
  • Online leaderboard records are stored in Google Firebase Firestore. Some leaderboard data may be publicly readable for ranking display, so do not put names, emails, phone numbers, or other personal information into task records.

Your choices

  • You can reset local records inside the app's record management area.
  • You can delete site data, localStorage, and cookies through your browser settings. This may also reset the anonymous authentication ID connection.
  • Use Delete online records & guest ID in the online leaderboard area to delete the current anonymous ID, its Firestore records, and the linked Firebase anonymous account. Local records remain, but existing local records are not automatically uploaded again.
